In the dynamic world of fundraising, organization is key. With Foundercrate’s enhanced Investor CRM, you now have the ability to add and categorize new fundraising rounds, tailoring your approach to each unique phase of your capital-raising journey.

This guide will explain how to define a new round in your Investor CRM, a crucial step that enhances your ability to manage and standardize the fundraising process effectively. Step 1: Accessing Investor CRM

Once you have logged into your Foundercrate dashboard, you find an option on the left panel as 'Investor CRM'. Click on that to access your dedicated CRM for the investors.


Step 2: Initiating the process

Once the Investor CRM has successfully been accessed, you will be able to see the CRM of investors for a dedicated fundraising round. Now, in order to create a new round of fundraising, click on the button that says 'Add New Round'.

Step 3: Adding new round

As soon as you click on the button, a new window will pop up, prompting you to fill in the necessary details to create a new round. Following information would be required to add a new funding round to the CRM:

  • Round Name: The first step is to give a name to the round of funding that you want to add to the Investor CRM. It could be a Seed Round or Series A or so on. Give the round a name that depicts the stage your fundraising journey is at.

  • Amount Targeted: The next information that needs to be provided is the amount tat your are targeting to raise in this particular round.

  • Round Type: Here, you would be required to choose from the dropdown menu, the type of round you are raising. It could be an equity based round or a convertible note, or Loan. Choose the type that describes the round in the best way possible.

  • Select Currency: Now you will be required to select a preferred currency in which you want to raise a particular round. You will find different currencies mentioned in the drop down. Select the one that you want to proceed with.

  • Amount Achieved: Here you can put down the amount received if it is an ongoing round. In case, this is a fresh round of funding that you are starting here, you can keep this as zero since no amount have been raised yet.

Once all the details are filled, click on the Save button to lock in the information.

Step 4: Switching form one round to the other

Now that we have add a new round to the CRM, switching in-between the rounds is also very easy. On the CRM window, you will find the dropdown that will reflect the current round. You can easily switch to other rounds using this droop down.
